During these testing and unprecedented times, Southend United Community & Educational Trust in tandem with Southend United would like to encourage supporters and members of the wider public to donate to Southend Foodbank, to help those in desperate need.
Southend Foodbank – part of the Trussell Trust network – is currently remaining open and would welcome your donations and support.
The following items are in urgent need:
Packet rice
Custard
Rice pudding
Tinned carrots
Meat meals (e.g. chilli and curries)
Squash
Juice
Donations can be made at collections points in Asda Shoeburyness (06:00-00:00), Tesco on the A127 (24 hours) and at the Waitrose stores in Southend (7:30 – 9pm weekdays, 7:30 – 8pm Saturdays, 11am – 5pm Sundays) and Leigh (08:00-20:00).
